Looking for a partner for new city. Job perks include free plot to build however big of a house u want and a bunch more perks. Will also need to help build buildings in city and make plots to sell. Let me know if you are interested.

Moved to Minor Cities Projects.

I assume you're unfamiliar with the Minor/Major city system?

I get to build for free? Can't find benefits like that anywhere else on the map, no sir.

It's all about the gil...but in theory, if you don't have to spend gil to build somewhere, you'd have more for buying materials, that would possibly make the house/city better looking. Although you would have to moderate who can and cannot build, just to make sure no cobble-sheds or mud-huts show up.
