The last major city

Replace everytime you hear unicorn in this video with major city and you have the theme song of Acheron.






It can be pretty clearly said by now that Acheron is the sole survivor of the four-city-concept.
All other major cities are dead or inactive. Its sad that such a great concept crumbled like that, but on the other hand im glad to say that at least Acheron survived due to the hard work of the council.

Made me cry :'(, its so true. We need at least one more city .

When watching that video, I thought of this.

Rather insulting but honestly true lol.

I would have kept Abydos going and made a true city out of it if I knew the plans for 1.8 in the past.

Alas, we still don't know such a thing now...

Meh, if Dan's up for it, and I have some idea that it won't be a waste of time like my previous projects, Abydos will rise to it's old potential!

But anywho!!!! Amazing work on Acheron . You guys make/made a great council!

Cities are not active, you sell plots, and then there is nothing left to do. Acheron stays active by destroying lots of legit people who just don't play as much.

Actualy im glad for grintendo's reaction.
I wanted to shake council members of other major cities awake again with this.
Even without the knowledge of 1.8, acheron kept working all the time. Advertising, attracting, helping, supporting, refreshing. We didnt care if the plans for 1.8 were clear or not or if it would be pointless to continue, we just did.

I guess I bought in the right city. I went to Acheron because it was the first one that was "open". I think it was stil under construction...but I donated 32 glow :p

Those are all just excuses! As a council member of a major city, you knew you had responsiblility and you knew what you where dragging yourself into! Your working for the server, man!

I don't really have an excuse for Ecco besides that it was too much work and I'm not really interested in minecraft anymore. It didn't help that PC did literally nothing, xD.

Yeah, they need worledit I mean..the expansion for Acheron, worldedit.

There are ways to make a city without having it perfectly flat.
All other cities have flat areas, you could be unique by using the natual landscaping as the city concept.

Psychotron's town did that. Looks really good

i think they were planning something really unique, so not a flat surface, but something that really does need WE...

Yeah, its not a flat surface, and its really cool too, but it would take literally a month to do alone.

I'll help possibly Monsta, but I have ideas for a new minor/major whatever city process or w.e for the next map.
