Chazdude: The IRL Cronicles

So I finished school and through my vast intellect i worked out that i needed a job. So i applied to over9000 jobs and then found a massive longshot job advert for a 'Trainee Flash Developer' so applied, got an interview (it was today) and learnt that i got the job 2 hours later

However, kinda bricking it as i've never had a 'proper' job before

Basically, im gonna be at work till about 5:30 (GMT) now so no minecraft till then

At least now i will have money to pay for certain games for certain people *cough*Grintendo*cough*

congrats on the job and welcome to the work force. i hope you like flash developing, as long as you enjoy what you do it will make a suitable replacement for minecraft.
quick tip your first few months in a paticular job are the most important, (all because of first impressions) so try to make friends at the office as that will help keep things fun. paticualrly if you ever have to go into crunch mode.

Well im more of a web developer but i guess i can learn all of AS 2.0 in saay a week? xD

And i love anything that has a code behind it so im gonna love it (i hope)

2 Hours even . It's still impressive ;p.

I swear the phrase was 9 till 5, 5 till 9 is a 12 hour day :O

Also, hours wise its 8:30am till 5pm so actually more than 9 till 5 o.O

thats not too bad for hours, so long as you're making good money

Nice, sealing a job that quickly in the current economic state ... Nicely done.

In the us you legally, on an hourly pay basis cannot work more than 8hours or they have to pay you overtime.

The title of this thread made me lol really hard, just saying.
