Why can members not post in the news forum? Not making new topics I can understand. We don't make the news, you do. But why can we not post on the changes to the server/forums? I just wanted to post "Congrats guys, you earned it!" In the "New Moderators!" topic, but because of the posting rights, I could not.

Just my two cents.

I believe this is because the only permission that relates to it is "Write and Reply" - Gives me the impression that it would also allow specified groups to make new threads in the section, as well as post replies.

I turned this off, because I was too lazy to take on read and reply, and take of make new topic. But I'm changing now.
