Homewell ive read on twitter that there is a pre-release of 1.9 and my friend said they were making a preview of it so is it actually out? i went to the link jeb posted but it gave me a winrar folder of minecraft which wouldnt work and a .jar file which (when played) came up as 1.8.1 ? anyone heard anything else?

its not working for me lol when i open minecraft and log in it just says 'Updating Minecraft Done Loading' but it doesnt get any farther than that
