Since many peoples may join our fabulous server not knowing how to make a sign shop, I thought I might write a guide on it.
To make a sign shop, you need to know 2 things: The item ID of what you want to sell(which can be found [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) , and how your username is spelled.
To make a sign shop, post a sign on a WALL. This means you post it on the side of a block. Not on top of it. the format for a sign is as follows

1[NaMe]
2[buy/sell]when you put buy on the sign this signifies that other people will BUY the item. When you put sell, this signifies that other people will SELL this item to you.
3[item id{SPACE}#]where # is amount you want to sell at a time. I would hope you would know what item id stands for.
4[price]this is the price that the amount of the specified item will be sold for. Let's see an example for anyone who does not understand how to make a sign yet.
1[The_Skynet]notice the capitals are as they are in my name.
2[buy]I want other people to BUY my item
3[4 64]I want other people to buy ITEM ID 4(cobblestone) SIXTY-FOUR at a time
4[3]people will PAY 3 gil every time they right click my sign with an emnpty hand
To put the item in your shop type /sign stock (item) (number up to the max you can have of that item in a stack. ex you may only put 1 bucket in your shop at a time but you can put in 64 cobblestone dirt ect.)
To make a sign showing how much you have of (item) left, put a blank sign over the sign you made to sell things.
To check your stock of all your items type /sign
in case you still do not understand how a sign shop works
Get off of the server and go play call of duty.
