MEGA lag in my chunk

Its impossible to play in the chunk where I live (approx x 1300 z -1700) because of massive lag. I invited Rardical to my house, he experienced the lag to, but he couldnt help.

Can anyone fix this? I suspect someone lit my forest on fire or something like that, but what do I know.

People can't light forests on fire as this server has worldguard installed, however the lag could just be on the server that day, or it could be your Internet.

No and no because it was just that one area for both of us.

I've had this problem before, sometimes its redstone contraptions, and other times its just tons of mob drops or dirt. My experience was 200 + framerate drop due to having a few thousand blocks of dirt sitting on the groud. Just walk around and try to find what the problem is.

If it was items on the ground, those disappear after... what, 5 minutes?

I was still in the area of those drops, so they stayed there for much longer.

I emptied out a full chest-full of items on the ground. 5 minutes later, they were gone.

I'm sure the problem isn't items on the ground, GoDj. Unless he came up with some gigantic mushroom farm auto-harvested with water, then I think it's a redstone contraption of some sort.

Okay if its redstone and mob stuff then its my neighbours, umyc, weatherchanging and ciproflox (as well as someone else i dont remember the name of). They have alot of redstone, farm stuff and mobstrap stuff.

I cant change this on my own, because im not allowed inside their house (and while i know how to sneak in i dont want to break anything). They dont like me very much either, so it would be nice if someone could talk to them.

I remember when you did about 6 double chests of coal... I gained so much and crashed so much that day..
