I was away for some of last week because of my shitty old computer.

I have now built my new computer and its running quite well at the minute

Im getting 500fps+ in some areas compared to 10-20 on my old pc so its all good


I wont be on much this weekend though as i have a gajillion things to install (mainly games xD)

Just not optimized, I have all my qualities on basically 'Super-High' on CSS, and I get 500+ FPS

500 is good for nothing but bragging. The human brain can process only 30 FPS. Anything more than that is a waste of performance. Going THAT high...damn man, you wasted your money. It was better spent on resolution, RAM, or Heck, even a cushy chair to sit your rump in.

It's a shame that doesn't compare 60 with 120, though obviously you'd need a 120hz monitor to see the difference in the first place anyway.

Either way, no denying FIVE HUNDRED is a waste.

Yeah, 500 hundred is a waste and to be fair, unless he was looking straight up/straight down and with the graphics in the lowest, I doubt he achieved it.

I did spend the money on the RAM, am buying a new monitor with my birthday and finally, I got a new computer chair about 3 weeks ago when mine 'mysteriously' broke xD

I literally bought the best I could with the £1300 budget I had, and now I'm buying more stuff to add to it with the extra money i got from work and a couple websites i was working on.

Now I've fixed windows (after managing to break it twice :3) I'll post some screenies when i get home.

I did manage to hit 604 for about half a second, but then I broke windows the second time...

Recipe for stupid specs:

1 x nerd with a job (and nowhere to spend any income other than paintballing)
2 x parents that like lending said nerd money
1 x super awesome person for tech support/advice

Over 1000FPS when I first logged in because I had optifine set for my old PC (i've just copied my AppData folder over so everything is exactly the same )
