Don't listen to him mudkip. You'll turn into music if you follow the failure path.The_Music_Man wrote:Hey, failure is always an option!

shockingly bad pun is awesome
let me give you some advice (im going to get trolled for this i can tell)
i never really did do incredably well in school until about my 4th year in high school which is also the year i left school and went to college to do something i loved doing. People call me a dropout and a failure but you cant fail if you're doing what you really love. So ill tell you this if you're failing a subject you hate no one can blame you because you're not motivated to learn much about it because of you're distaste for it, for me that subject was graph com im not sure what it would be for you. But now im in college doing a coursee in multimeadia and games development. I've always wanted to be a gmes developer and now that im doing something that leads me straight to it i couldnt be any happier. So my advice to you is if you're not doing well in this subject and you really dislike it then chances are you will drop it soon and it wont have a huge effect on you're life however if its something you love then you really should strive to do well in it, you might get called names for this but in the end you will be the one doing something you love in 10-20 years time and then you will be the one thats laughing.
i hope this helps even if it does just slightly

Its rediculous how much that sounds like me...
I always sucked at English because I have poor writing skills so it takes effort to write a lot (i.e. essays)
I gave up pretty early on, when I was about 12 in my first yeah of secondary school (aka high school)
Since then, i have been moaned at constantly for my poor writing skills but my literary skills have always been relatively high so i focused on subjects that i was allowed to use a computer to write in (like ICT).
I focused on what I wanted to do, becoming a programmer, I now work for a company and am doing just that after 4 weeks of leaving my final year of school.
Whatever effort you put in, you will get back out in the end. Just make sure its in the right place

and i bet you dont regret focusing on that because now you get to do something you love!
so the moral do what you love put effort into it and then get a job doing what you love
1.doing what you love
2.insert effort
3.reap the rewards
4.???
5.laugh at the people who mocked because they are all doing shitty jobs they hate

More like laugh at all your friends that go to uni and struggle with their shitty 'media studies' or 'government politics' degrees xDmaroon_potatoe wrote:5.laugh at the people who mocked because they are all doing shitty jobs they hate

THis is gonna rip my soul in two. But Callum is right, I hate German, never gonna use it, and I never could grasp it. My two favourite subjects in school are the ones I wanna follow. P.E and Hospitality (cookery). P.E for the army, and Hospitality for being a chef. I haven't decided what one I'm gonna follow fully, but that'll come soon. But yeah, if you fail at a subject you don't like or see the point in having because you're gonna be doing a job that doesn't require it, then who cares about it.
But Callum is still a failure and a dropout
