Am I missing something.

Well In Skyrim I'm going for a sort of battle-mage-healer-blacksmith. And I have been hearing people go on about how the Deadric armor os the best in the game for raw dammage resistance. Well I stumbled across some Dwarven armor and got a little suspicious and checked the stats. Now either people are idiots or I'm missing something here, because from what I can see the Dwarven armor is better than the Deadric armor.

Well in all reality it depends on your armor skill. I think the people who had the dwarven armor had a high heavy armor skill, so they put the stats as what they are. Nobody has the Construction Kit yet so we can't see the actual values.

But they are both heavy armors, so as far as I can tell there isn't any skill that separates them.

Okay I've used both I found i died less with the dwarf armor the the deadric armor and i was a lower level with the dwarf set, does that answer your question. But if you want good armor do quests for general tullius and he will give you ebony armor that shit is strong. And then when you get 100 smithing make yourself dragon bone armor, thats what I have and I can just absorb hits
