I Was Banned

I was banned and i don't know what I did. Can someone tell me why I was banned? And for whatever reason I was, is it temporary?

No, 87 edits in a 25 block radius, various things such as the chest was also broken beforehand. As you can see from my original post, I had left the decision to MonstaBoi who later chose to go ahead with the ban.

If people can't control which blocks they destroy then there's a problem.

orc, if he lives there as well, dont you think there's a small chance that most of the 87 edits were actually not griefs considering you did a radius of 25 ( =50 diameter about 1/4 the size of spawn)?

Yes, that's a definite possibility. Thing is, he didn't accidently destroy half the guy's flooring and his chest, there was no 'mistake' on his part.

But I replaced the chests after I destroyed them. I only destroyed to get to stuff. Also I replaced all the blocks that I destroyed besides the gravel. I didn't know that the gravel counted as griefing. I want to know if this is temp.

If you had "replaced the chests" then why did the only re-appear when I rolled back your damage?

But I did put the chests back down! Besides, I did not think that destroying chests is griefing. I just thought it would look bad. Are you sure someone didn't come on after me? Whatever I didn't fix I assumed did not count as griefing. Such as I replaced the wall I destroyed to get in because I thought that would count as griefing. I am sorry I did not know that griefing applied to gravel and chests as well. But I have learned that now, so I would like to know if the ban is only temp.

dude, griefing is editing someone elses creation. even if you replaced it, you still stole my shit and broke in, and the chests werent replaced. and you didnt even fix my wall right, or replace the floor.

I TOTALLY FIXED THE WALL! I EVEN PUT THE TORCH BACK ON IT!!!!!!

That's mostly MonstaBoi's decision, considering he was the victim in this.

the thing is, you dont understand what you did. you robbed me. you took all my stuff. you broke in, without my permission and robbed me, even as i let you stay in my city.

If you go by my opinion Monsta, I'd say unban him. If not now, then keep him banned until friday. Or Saturday. But personally, I'd say give him a second chance, after a short ban.

Prob til saturday night, when i can get on cause my weekend is taken.

And patric, the chests were locked but theres a problem with lwc that makes em breakable.

No, if the chest was locked with LWC prior to it being stolen from / destroyed then that's the plugin's fault and not the user's. If they locked it after it got stolen from then it's their own fault.

why dont people just use freaking /cprivate i have never heard something happen wrong with that!

/cprivate is just another way of saying /lwc -c private.

oh, and on an oftopc note, i think the server is down, or myself along with a few others have had a LOT of trouble get onto the server...
