Can't connect to MineCraft.net

Anyone else getting this message on login ?
I have for the last 24hrs.

I know you can use the Browser to play... but that's running verion 1.3.1 :-(

Try using the 'old' launcher if you're not already. I could never connect to minecraft.net whilst using the updated launcher.

The new launcher worked fine for me until yesterday.

It all went wrong when I used a DowngradeVersion (german edition) app, suggested in another thread on this forum... ho hum.

Dosn't the old launcher auto-upgrade you to version 1.3.1 ?

Yes, but as long as you don't modify the version file the client will still think you're at 1.3_01 once you've replaced the minecraft.jar file.

I think its working now
