SpA-what? Where is all the grudge coming from?

So what happened at this SpA Server, whats the story?
Did they rape you guys back there or what? I frequently see that place mentioned in sentence like "if you wanna grief, go to SpA" "SpA sucks" and so on. Where is all the bad blood coming from?

I love SpA. The thing is, they banned a few people who came here, namely Orcworm himself and Purecraft... They also banned Battlekid, demoted FillerB and me, and Junco just left because he's badass.

I still think SpA is awesome, and I play on their TF2 servers when I get the chance, but yeah... Banned people get mad.

I heard some of you guys got banned there, thats propably why you made your own server here, but i just wonder why it even happened. Well, i can imagine why they banned Battlekid, but you guys?

Orcworm hacked the SpA SMP
I got demoted for bein a BADASS! (No, I fucked with destoned)
Battlekid, meh he got banned after I left.
Pete was banned on the Forums for exessive trolling
JC is BADASS (haighfive)
And fuck knows why Filler (trustee, highest rank you can get) got demoted to Veteran(3. Rank)

So you are just a bunch of fucking delinquents and renegades... and you run a server? great!

I promoted myself to Owner, played with Magiccarpet and was then banned for "severe command abuse", i.e. total bullshit. Realised I could manage a server better than they could, and here we are.

My best guess is still for pointing out some hypocritical bullshit from my fellow admins/trustees. Never got a straight answer, which is why I left. But I seriously don't understand the hate SpA gets around here. The ones who were banned got their just deserts (you too Orc, sorry mate), the Freebuild Server turned to utter shit and now we're playing on a totally different server which has abso-fucking-lutely nothing to do with SpA except that some ex-SpA'rs play here. Why do we keep pulling rotting cow carcasses out of the pond?

Because this is the best thing to do when you're sat in a 4 hour RIFT queue.

Psh, when I got here, an admin could promote a guest to owner... Good old post-SpA times.

Orc didn't hack, so much as exploit a terrible stupid bug in the promotion system. Just so you know.

I still regular the freebuild, and the tf2 server, infact I've only really been playing tf2, since I've only just got properly into it. I'll probably still go on SpA's smp, but I prefer this one atm, it's much less laggy, and a lot of new players on SpA's smp are intolerable, but yeah Filler's hit it on the head.

Also, Orc did hack after he was demoted, and that's what got him banned

Still getting into scout, SpA's tf2 server is solid, so it's difficult to practise new classes on there. So I tend to go on silly spammy ones too.
