Re: Timing out
The server is currently down, just needs to be reset, I am basing this off of, the fact it says I am online, which I have not been able to do in the past 3 hours.
(if your wanting to do quality posts.... re read ur post b4 u send it... sheehs. "Just needs to be rest" da f? u mean reset? lol)

/me thinks that mods/admins (other than orc) should be able to restart the server.

Re: Timing out
Me think that too since the only ones who can reset have different time zones or playing a horrible game to get to level 99

Re: Timing out
They used to be able to, but someone kept trying to guess/hack the password (that is why it was changed, or at least what I heard).
Arbr used to be able to reset and he is in our timezone but he is addicted to runescape now. I can't help laughing at that statement.

Re: Timing out
I say Junco should be the new Arbr. Also, guys... If you open Google and search for a few keywords, you can see that the problem is with the server. I already had this discussion with someone else, but really, at least do some really fast search and come here reporting it.

Re: Timing out
Keyword - An index term, subject term, subject heading, or descriptor, in information retrieval, is a term that captures the essence of the topic of a document.
In this case, the topic is the error when joining the server, the keywords to describe said problem are "Minrcraft" and "Time-Out" Try again with those two.

Re: Timing out
Well based on my experience, Connection Lost, Time out=Server is maxed out and needs restart.
Anything else other than connection refused (which means restarting)=Minecraft fails

Re: Timing out
Ummm... There are several problems that may occur depending on the error message, one of the most common ones is "u don't haz 'nough RAM, n00b"

Re: Timing out
I'd do it if offered, but I probably haven't been around long enough. One bright side to it though is I'm NEVER without my iPhone, and unless I'm sleeping check the forums almost hourly. I could do a quick restart from just about anywhere if it's capable through Safari.

I was informed the old password was about -5 on a 0 to 10 scale security wise.

I was able to at one point, although that was on one of the older survival servers.

Since we're throwing names around I'll put mine in the hat as well =P
I probably haven't been around long enough, but that dosn't mean I'm gonna go all n00bish and muck with things.
Plus it would be handy to have someone in the opposite time zone as you Orc.
Cheers!!

Re: Timing out
Ummmm... GM, shut up, you go around destroying cities.
Also, I think only a handful of admins should have access, I don't think we have Asian players, so it's mainly people from the US and Europe... Orc and Pure can handle the Europe timezones and Junco can handle the US timezones... It's purrrrfect. ^_^

Re: Timing out
Getting timed out again! I'm running on 1.2 so guess it's not a client issue...I hope.
Any suggestions what to do? sry for the stupid question, but it is quite frustrating since I can only play for about 30-60 min till the connection is gone!

Yeah, Pure just got access to it, don't worry. (I think he did, not sure. )
No, but for reals, I was suggesting Junco because he's on a completely different timezone, while you are on a similar one, probably. I would also have suggested myself, but that would suck (Yeah)... I also wouldn't know what to do.
