    Ventrillo? Teamspeak? Empty Ventrillo? Teamspeak?

    Post by Giygas 2011-02-26, 22:15

Heyo, I been thinking this server could need a Teamspeak or Ventrillo server.
The fact is I actually hate typing when danger is around and since sprucegoose was in my village im paranoid as fudge.

Also I think the chat system of Minecraft is a bit weird, no chance to scroll it up or down and it sometimes chews up half of your screen. With a TS or Vent Server it would lower the "chat spammage" and you can react faster if danger is around.

Mainly because the tutorials for installing a TS / Vent server looked too confusing...

I've been on Mumble a few times, but never seem to be when other Mumble users are on it. I'm sometimes on Skype with Kewaii, though. Smile

Somewhat difficult to avoid considering about 80% of the Minecraft community are about eight years old. Oh, and there's a chat mod to add chat scrolling, chat log etc.

True, but with that necro came several more related inquiries that wouldn't have existed without it.

"Indeed, mumble may be abit of a Bad? program it still works just fine, prefer skype or vent tho :p" I don't really see how that was an important addition to the thread; I mean... The few next posts were as un-useful as that one, so yeah...
