Rules for building?

Maybe I've been misinformed but if you have a zoned area, or even a clearly labeled area saying you "own" it, isn't there a minimum distance between you and where someone else can start building?

Technically no, but if I build something, and someone else builds like- right up against it, it would sure annoy me. We may have a rule sooner or later, depending how fast Orcworm can catch this.

Of course not, you don't own any land on the server unless you donate and get it zoned, it all belongs to Orcworm. If someone builds next to you, PvP kill them until they leave.

It is zoned. It's my donator zone and I payed Orc extra gil for the zone because it felt fair to me.

He built outside your zone, I don't get what makes you mad. If you wanted a bigger space, you should have zoned more.

Ehh not so much mad as I find it really unsightly. That's why I was hoping for that rule lol. Plus building right up to the zone border is kinda dickish. But if there is no rule I guess I can ask for it to be taken down by its owner.

It is dickish indeed, just like stealing from unlocked chests; I don't set the rules, nor enforce them, I just happen to have a little influence in how stuff works around here.

Eh, take it down yourself, if anyone complains direct them to the world map and tell them to check how much free space there still is.

Oh no, sorry, it's more than a tower. I just logged back in to see that part and ss'd it. Someone actually started building a rather large area and used cobble as the foundation/walls. That's why I asked about building rules. Here are better screens.

As you can see they built right up to the zone, found out they couldn't build there and just went around it.
