Chest Shops

Here's the plugin info
I was talking in-game to Orc about it, and I wanted to know your opinions. They are shops that take literally 10 seconds to make, and anyone can do them.

That would be nice, but I liked the npc shops, brings atraction to the area because a person is there

Yea, with some of these chest shops, you can just crack open your chest again if you need any. Plus the NPCs looked too complicated for me to mess with.

That may be true, but they're also unavailable for unstocking should we need to use them. (like I'd done a few times with wood for tools or pork when a creeper got the drop on me). With NPC dev in AWOL like you stated they're frozen assets, just like for those sign shops people had. Assets there, but frozen and unusable. In the meantime, we can gather more stuff, but it would still be nice for the NPC developer to show himself and et us know when we might expect to get our stuff back.

One question to consider with the chest shop, though, is in regards to attempted theft. LWC DOES rebuild chests when broken an save your stored goods; but would the moment in which the chest is broken before it can rollback the grief break the connection with it's associated sign?

I'm not sure if the chest shop plugin adds an extra layer of protection for chests... or if it conflicts with LWC.

Edit: Just tried it, works perfectly - Just need a chest under the sign with the following:

Line1: Blank
Line2: Item-amount
Line3: Item-price
Line4: Blank

The plugin picks up what the item is in the chest automatically.

It works with LWC, and you can set it so the signs are automatically zoned.
Also, in the config.yml file, you can change where the chest goes. I recommend making it one block down from the current setting, so it would be the floor you stand on when you buy from it.

So they act as atms. For example, you can set them up so that you can trade in gold ingots for iconomy money. Also, people can use them to stock their stores. If you want them for purely atms, there's a permissions node for that.

They should NOT be working at the moment. You should not try making your own until I've restarted tomorrow, as I was planning to do.

My shop in gamecity was the first shop in this server to use chest shops ang might still be the only one
