You know I expected something more of these achievements. But the ones currently implemented are ridiculously easy to get. I had 3/4 of them within 10 minutes. On a new map.

I know what you mean but i think that the people at Mojang may have rushed to get them out.... well i guess there's always room to expand them

Thisthisthis. The temp map is aweful and there's nothing to do on there but be a dick because anything you obtain or build will just be taken/ruined by someone else because of the lack of greifing rules. Not complaining as it's temp.. but if we're talking a few days here.. instead of an hour or so of wasting time on the temp map.. (I spent like 30 minutes on it and got bored.) Then in my opinion the best option is staying on 1.4 until the rest of the things are updated. :/

Than what's so bad people (not you specific FillerB)? I mean I found it quite ugly with 1 ladder, no ladder, 1 ladder etc. and you can't say theres a difference. You can stack ladders so no space won't be a problem. For the rest it's plain easy.

Simple put a ladder more =\. For the update. I think it's better to get SOME new features in than 20 as Notch can now look how people react to it and how he can improve it. He is an indie developer and he can´t release a whole add-on in 2 months. Smaller update = better quality, besides if you play for over 6 months and there hasn't been any updates the project looks kinda dead to. If something gets implanted people try it out so they come on-line again.

Also when you put in 30 new things. The players are using 15 things that appeal most to them. Now people will come faster with complaints about something they don't appeal to because some won't even use it if a awesome new feature is available.

I do have to say, I was really disappointed with this update. Achievements are waaay too easy to get ( I got almost all of mine within the first several minutes on my new map), statistics are meh, and weather just looks pretty, besides the fact that thunderstorms allow hostile mobs to spawn. I'm pretty sure this update did much more harm than good.
