Join the 9-bit legion!

If you are tired of all the warfare and strife, come join the 9-bit legion. We will pick wildflowers, and frolic in fields together, free from oppression and warfare. There are a few rules, however:

1. Strictly NO killing of pigs, sheep, chickens, or other friendly animals. Doing so is an immediate ban from the 9-bit legion, no questions asked. We respect nature here.

2. There is a daily tax of 3 wildflowers, to prove that you are getting out and enjoying nature. This tax is waived if you help the commune farm or in its environmentally-friendly building projects.

3. You must plant at least 10 trees every day. You may only cut down a tree if you immediately plant 2 more in its place. IMMEDIATELY means immediately.

4. Recycle. I do not want to ever see you just drop items on the ground. We only have one world, and we need to take care of it. If you want to drop something, then too bad, you should not have taken what you did not need.

Let me know if you want to join!

The above reactions are why we can't have nice things on this server. Bunch of PvP wankers immediatly shooting down an idea because it doesn't agree with their assholish ways.

You have obviously no idea what kind of shit storms the 8Bit Legion, of which Pure is unfortunately a member, can and have caused. So yes, hear me complain when I see yet another one brewing on the horizon.

Also note that I never said that I find this whole obviously "9Bit" trolling attempt a good idea.

It isn't without reason. lol And I don't see why anyone would waste their energy on bitching about trivial things like that. It's a game. Srsly. If it were all friendly and fluffy, it would be boring, and no one would play.

Lol, it's amazing how we get blamed for anything. Random guest gets killed? It must be the LEGION! Stuff gets stolen? Damn LEGION! Global warming? Must be our fault!

And yet for all of that, we don't break actual, you know, rules. I've been on this server for longer than most of the admins and mods (including you, ironically enough) and have never once been banned, because I've never broken a rule. Most of the admins have been banned once at least, and some many more times than that.

In terms of rule breakers, our group has the most regulars who never break rules around. But that doesn't matter if some random admin gets a grudge and wants to fling insults at us nonstop, right?

How in the world is it 'impossible'? I was the FIRST on their damn list and they didn't kill me once until I actually started going to them. If people can't avoid that shit then they're doing something wrong obviously. It's called lock your doors, make a personal mine, and grow shit yourself. Not that hard. I mean, look at my building. It used to be a dirt shack.

You do not grief, you do not repeatably spawncamp but you do actively ruin other players. So while I get complaint after complaint I can't actually do anything about it. THAT is my problem with 8Bit.

Yeah, I hate wanting to use my admin powers to crush people I don't like, but not being allowed to because they don't actually break the rules. Like omg, they're PVPing people on a PVP server.

If we PVP people for no reason at all, we're indiscriminate slaughterers. But if you target people for some reason, that's even worse! Well damn, looks like PVP in a PVP server is only allowed for people FillerB likes.

Oh, also, I forgot to mention, we can't eat meat either. Even if you buy pork from somebody else, you are giving them an incentive to kill animals. We eat bread and mushroom stew only. If there is interest, we can start a farming collective whereby we all create wheat to share with the world. Under no circumstances can we sell this, though - the goal is to make bread so cheap and plentiful that nobody has any reason to kill pigs anymore.
