I like the idea. But if the Ghasts do drop something they should drap like stationary water, fire, lava ect.

Iv spent some time in the nether now. And I have never seen a ghast? Is something wrong? Or what do I need to do to get them back?

Ghasts are either invisible or fire invisible fireballs at you, added to that magic-carpet is bugged so isn't working... I've disabled them ;p.
