If you have experience roleplaying on another site, this guide can still be extremely valuable, as there may be some differences between the two sites. If you are completely new, hopefully this guide will give you a rough idea of how things work. If you are still unsure, post <insert location here> and myself or a member of RP Staff will assist you.

There are things that you should always rember when writing up your Bio (Biography)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do not power play; Power playing would you be creating a character with a large and unrealistic arsenal such as a large array of firearms.
Do not Create an unrealistic scenario; like for example, single handedly taking out an enormous force without a scratch.
Try and stay within some kind of posting order; if you fall out of the posting order events get confused and lots of post editing will follow.
Do not Godmode; Godmoding is taking control of another role-players character without consent, Godmoding is acceptable in the circumstance of frozen plot(To be explained).
Try to avoid creating a frozen plot; a frozen plot is caused when one roleplayer leaves for the night or something similar whilkst activly taking part in events, for example, this is created when character 'X' is speaking with Character 'Y', player 'X' leaves meaning player 'Y' cannot continue the scene.
Also obey all the rules for forum posting and rp posting...

[T1] Action adventure:
Within the environment of an Action/Adventure the style of roleplay is quite often fast-paced and action packed, many things can happen and plot changes are often frequent and the style of gaming can often change. [T2] Science-Fiction
Within the environment of a Sci-fi roleplay, expect a lot of technical chat and be prepared for battles of epic proportions, a sci-fi requires a lot of imagination and thought to run, and bear in mind the weapons and equipment used within one, will be far more powerful that Action adventure, with this power come the responsibility not to make a super-mega-awesome doomsday weapon that will wipe out solar systems, unless the ultimate goal is its final destruction...
[T3] Fantasy
Within the environment of a Fantasy roleplay, prepare to take a step back in time to a world of magic and folklore, prepare for an exciting trip of imaginations and unknown wonders, and be prepared for large battles to decide the fate of the planet. Fantasy roleplays are always the ultimate battle between good and evil; will you be able to survive the murky depths of this environment? However, respect the thread owner wishes as to how the balance of power will lie...

[T5] Zombie Adventure
An ever popular genre of roleplay, this enviroment will require speed, Agility, Skill OR a shed load of weaponry. Fighting off the hordes of undead has never been more fun, This environment introduces the possibility of Real horror, or comedy values, just be careful to avoid getting bitten! unlees of course the idea of being a zombie is appealing, always conferr with roleplay runner before setting up a Zombie bio as it may not be their wish for zombie players...
