We should just remove it, it is annoying as hell. It turns all my glowstone in the railroad to mud

I love it, please don't get rid of it. Maybe we can disable just the glowstone/soulstone part of it?

Yeah, falsebookextra.jar adds those features, it's easily removed.

Well Arbr made a 'portal' room on the last server and when it was copied over the bottom of the map is made of lightstone so any of my redstone for the railroad converts it to mud

FalseBook == CraftBook. It is just an plugin to make the redstone system less failtastic. Only the more awesome parts of it (ICs) are disabled for various reasons.

As I said: various reasons. Enabling them all is a no-no since there are some REAL gamebreakers.
