- Rules
Section 1: Rules regarding teleporting:
Part 1: Regarding killing
A) From here on in, it is now a violation to /tp , /Bring /put and either attack or kill anyone.
B) It is hereby illegal to teleport to player near someone for the purpose of killing them
C) It is illegal to teleport to someone or bring someone to you and attack them regardless if it is just for damage and not kill
D) Compass jumping is regarded as teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
E) /thru is considered teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
F) /jumpto is considered teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
G) It is a violation to teleport to a person’s co-ordinates and kill them
H) A PW is classed as teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
I) /home is acceptable given that it is actually your home.
Part 2: Regarding third parties
A) It is illegal for a donator+ to teleport two players without explicit permission from both parties (the donator is liable to be tempo banned for violating the TP killing rule)
B) If a donator+ teleports to another play and is asked to leave, they must comply immediately or they will be subject to punishment
C) It is a violation to request a donator+ to teleport you somewhere to “surprise your friend” as this is considered to be violating section A part 2 rule B
D) It is a violation to TP a third party to someone’s co-ordinates to kill them
E) It is a violation to teleport to a third party for the reason of grabbing their coordinates.
Part 3: Personal teleports / PWs
A) It is a violation to set a PW in a city without permission
B) It is a violation to set home in a city without permission
C) It is acceptable to use someone’s TP runes to kill them unless this is in a unrestricted area
D) If you accessed there rune by using commands, grief or hacks, this is unacceptable
E) It is an offence to /thru to someone’s runes
F) It is a violation to place a PW in someones home without their permission.
G) It is an offence to use /put or /tp third party x,y,z without permission from the third party
H) it is an offence to use "/put 3rdparty" or "/tp 3rdparty x,y,z" or "/tphere" for the sole purpose of making them fall to their death/into lava or anything else that would result in their death
Section 2: Rules regarding griefing
Part 1: Defining griefing
A) Griefing is the act of vandalism, Vandalism is illegal and a bannable offence
B) Griefing is the braking and editing of blocks in an area that is owned by someone else, marked by someone else, or blocks placed by someone else.
C) Griefing is automatically a bannable offence regardless of how many or how few blocks have been edited.
D) Never repair griefing of your own accord, always get a member of staff. Because if not, both players may be banned for griefing.
E) Repetitive killing of players is NOT griefing.
F) Harassment is also NOT griefing.
G) Building above or surrounding or below someone else’s blocks is considered griefing.
H) If you accidentally grief into someone’s tunnel or house, do not cover it, inform a staff member and you will be forgiven, failure to do so will result in a ban. (if no staff present, then leave it alone, and leave a post on the form about it, include co-ordinate and screenshot)
I) DO NOT REMOVE buildings of players that are away for a long time, or have been banned. Let a staff member do it.
J) If your water or lava touches other player’s blocks, this is considered griefing.
K) Theft of other peoples water or lava is considered griefing
L) The use of water buckets to gain access to structures you normally would not enter is considered griefing.
M) Theft of other players blocks is considered griefing
N) Theft from an unsecured chest IS NOT considered griefing
O) Theft from a LWC glitched chest IS considered griefing, to check this type in /Cinfo and if the tag states “that air is not registered” or “that air is registered” its is LWC glitched and theft is not allowed)
P) Theft from a chest without first checking its LWC status is considered griefing (see section 2, part 1, rule N)
Q) Stealing players runes e.g. powerpick. Is considered griefing (unless you have permission from the maker of said rune)
R) It is considered griefing to set fire to other peoples structures or blocks.
Part 2: Griefing
a) It is an offence to grief in any way shape or form, as described as above.
b) The amount of blocks you edited is irrelevant whether it was one or one hundred, griefing is griefing and you will be banned.
Section 3: rules regarding player versus player combat
Part 1: Camping.
A) To define camping. Camping is the act of remaining in the same place or near a certain location for an extended period of time.
B) It is an offence to camp outside the spawn.
C) It is an offence to camp at someone’s /home
D) It is an offence to camp at someone’s PW
E) It is Not an offence to camp OUTSIDE someone’s house.
F) It IS an offence to camp INSIDE someone’s house.
Part 2: Donator+ powers
A) It is illegal to use a compass to move to players and attack them.
B) It is acceptable to use a compass to ESCAPE a player however.
C) It is illegal to chase someone with a compass who is compassing to escape.
D) It is illegal to /jumpto or /thru to chase down an escaping victim
E) It is illegal to use Donator+ powers for PvP advantage.
F) It is illegal to use magic carpet to suffocate other players
G) It is illegal to use magic carpet as a bow and arrow fire base
H) It is acceptable to use magic carpet to escape PvPers
I) It is illegal to /jumpto to kill a target as this is in violation of the TP killing rule
J) It is illegal to /thru to a target as this is in violation of the TP killing rule
Part 3: Environmental PvP
A) It is legal to use lava for PvP so long as it is in a PvP zone and not violating the grief rules
B) It is legal to use fire for PvP so long as it is in a PvP zone and does not violate the grief rules.
C) It is legal to use water or PvP so long as it does not violate the grief rules
D) It is illegal to set fire to players in non-PvP zones
E) It is illegal to use any form of /put, /bring to PvP other players as this is in violation of Section 1, part 1.
Section 4: Harassment
Part 1: Chat
A) Racism is a bannable offence
B) Racial or religious slander is under no circumstances acceptable.
C) Political discussions must be kept civil.
D) Religious discussion must be kept civil
E) Trolling is acceptable( unless it violates the religious, political or racial rules)
F) Do not use players real names without their explicit consent
G) Try to avoid public flame wars, if you have a dispute /message the other involved party.
Part 2: PvP
A) It is acceptable to repeatedly kill a player who has wronged you, so long as it does not violate any rules.
B) It is however unacceptable to repeatedly insult and abuse them verbally (text writing)
Part 3: Players
A) It is classed as harassment if you continually TP to a player when they do not want you there.
B) It is classed as harassment to repeatedly troll and target an individual over age/sex/sexual orientation/country.
C) Being pushed or falling into 1x1 holes or off of cliffs is not harassment as this is a PvP server and if you’re not looking where you are going it is wholly your fault.
Punishments
Infractions of the rules are punished in different ways according to their severity. We have the power to give: 1) A warning.
2) A temporary ban the length of which is determined by the Staff-member handling your case. This type of ban is not appealable.
3) A permanent ban. This ban is appealable. Make a post in the Ban Appeal-section if you think your ban was unjust.
4) A Demotion. Donators can be stripped off their rank and privileges if they abuse them.
(Not understanding the rules is not an excuse for breaking them)
