    If everything goes according to plan:

    Full /npc command access will be given to those who have donated £15+, with a limit of one NPC per player for the time being.

    Only basic NPCs are supported until other types have been fully tested.

    /npc create [name] (text - optional) - Creates a NPC at your location.

    /npc set [text] - Sets an NPC's text (removes all previous messages).

    /npc add [text] - Adds to an NPC's text list (messages selected randomly from the list).

    /npc reset - Resets an NPC's messages.

    /npc item [id|item name] - Sets an NPC's in hand item to the specified type.

    /npc helmet|boots|torso|legs [id|item name] - Sets the specified armor type of an NPC.

    /npc move - Moves an NPC to your location.


    Will be active upon next restart.

    Btw, when you want to give your NPC an item, you have to have it in your inventory.

    I love this plugin! Good point though, what if a player makes a NPC in someone else's home? Could cause issues...

    Then Orc or someone with /NPC delete will delete the NPC and ban/temp-ban the user.

    Someone made an advertising npc in the spawn tower.. Here comes 50 more for their little cities.

    Well obviously, but there is potential for a lot of these NPC's, therefore Orc would struggle to deal with them all. Then again i could be wrong and it could only be a few bad NPC's...

    It's one NPC per player atm Ryk, so unless you want to sacrifice your own NPC it's not really possible.

    3 questions for orcworm (mostly):
    1: can you make it so we can make different skins on our NPC's, like the orcworm one at the spawn city?
    2: can i some how make a NPC that can move around, preferably in a set radius?
    3: can you change the permissions so we can deleted our NPC's?

    I figured out that you can REMOVE NPCs by doing "/npc remove"!

    The skins are attached to the name of the NPC, anything past that is a core Minecraft limitation.

    'Guards' are being worked on for the next release of the plugin, though I may move to a similar NPC plugin that already has this functionality in the future.

    Seems Giygas has answered that.

    i know that everyone loves npc mods and how fun they can be but i seem to have problems when in close proximity of those things.(spawn tower)

    could someone give me some advise or help?

    orc, do you think you could give the donators who donated over 15 euros the permission to spawn over 1 NPC? it would make cities more interesting.

    We tested the plugin with ~5-6 NPCs, the next step is to give all the donators one and see how that goes.
    Depending on the results, we may switch to a different plugin where the NPC's are saved differently or keep it the same or let you have more.
    For the time being, be happy with your one Wink lol

    The spawn area never loads completely and if it does its only for a few seconds before i lag out of the server. Its so severe that i cant descend to the bottom of the spawn tower or walk out of any of the exits

    Although should be discussed in a different topic, try changing your render distance to short, graphics to fast, limit FPS to true, and opengl to off.

    The reasons why npcs may cause lag is apparently they are treated as actual players on the server, therefore if there are actually 150 npcs about, then thered be around 250 players online.. as far as the servers concerned. At least.. that's what I've gathered from reading several topics on it.

    Ok albuca, i have tried that but it only seems to load a small number of the surrounding blocks which is an improvement but it is still unplayable D:

    I lost mah npc. D: I forgot the id number, and cannot select it.. so I can't tp, remove, or move it. ><

    It's near speedymitos town/house.. but I can't figure out where that is and he hasn't been on in a while.

    NPCs disappearing for a few days, the plugin we're currently using has a problem with it - so a new one will be added, tested then released for you guys.
