Wow there! Next you telling me you ALSO have a DVD-drive.

Anyways to show my "massive" e-peen to all you hungry folks.

    Laptop: i5 @ 2.27ghz, 4gb ram, 300gb hdd, radeon hd 5650
Desktop: Intel 80286, 2 floppy drives (5 1/4 and 3 1/2 inch), no hdd, hercules graphics card.

It does the job it needs to do. No sense in buying a monstrous rig if your not planning on actually utilizing that power.

Then how shall I compensate for my small penis and numerous other insecurities?

    AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz
ATI Raedon HD 5850 1.024gb GDDR5, Core clock 725mhz, memory clock is 1ghz
Both systems run incredibly cool as I chucked the stock coolers and put on some high quality heat sinks on them both.
    Noctua NH-U9B-SE2 CPU Cooler w/Dual NF-B9 Fan
Arctic Cooling Accelero TWIN TURBO PRO
Asus Crosshair III Formula AMD 790FX/SB750 DDR3 1600
    Corsair 6GB Kit Dominator GT (3x 2GB), 1600MHz
And a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 SATA 3Gb/s 1TB Hard Drive. Word of advise, THIS IS A SHITTY HD. The most important component of your build is generally the HD so don't be a tight ass like me and try to save some cash by purchasing a shitty HD. This is about a year old and my HD is about to crash.

I've bought a new pc a few months ago, before that I had a
    3.0ghz single core processor
    Radeon X1950
    2gb memory
around 500 gb hd I think
I couldn't play any game that came out since 2007 but now I have
    AMD Phenom II X4 970 Processor 3.5ghz
    4GB memory
    Nvidea GTX 460

I've been playing recent games for a while now and i must say they still look like crap, sure some games are pretty like Far Cry 2 but it's not like the graphics of today look realistic, they still need alot of improvments. Besides that alot of games aren't any fun, GTA 4 was allright but besides the story there isn't alot to do in the game, 90% of the map is just city, you can't spend your money except on guns and there are no features like in GTA SA like gambling, you can't even fly a plane.
Far Cry 2 was quite fun but after the story ends you can't even roam around. I've played Mass effect 1 a year ago and ME 2 a month ago, ME1 is better in many ways.

Yea, I'm quite dissapointed in games of today.

WTF is wrong with an ATI 5850?

It works for those of us who cant afford a top end card but still want to play games on decent settings.

Well skyrim and BF3 are coming out this year, they should both be pretty epic.

Ok, I meant it is near the top end, just on the lower side of the top end. I have the same card as you except mine is 1gb.

For an upgrade would you buy another 5850 and crosslink or?

From knowledge that just might be the case. I think I tried to hook up an old nvidia card that that I could use to calculate physx, but at the time it was too much of a hassle. I think there is now a patch for win 7 that simplifies the process but have never got around to it.

My card generates nice enough quality as it is so there is no reason to muck around with it
