so, after about 7 attempts using various methods such as using a modloader and doing it manually, and from starting from a vanilla .minecraft, i just cant seem to get them to work. what im trying to install is aethermod (obviously) and modloader, audiomod, and shockahapi, because they're required. can anybody help me with this?

OK first of all, are you installing any other mods?
i know world edit isn't compatible with aether.Second, You need to install them in the correct order. First modloader, then audio, shock, and then aether. tell me if it works.

Took me a while myself, i can remember the video is slightly wrong, but theres a caption added that corrects this, so look out for that.

Do you have Teamviewer? i would be happy to help you. Make sure you've deleted the META-INF folder, if there is one in there. When i tried to install it, i had other mods, like flymod, TMI, etc etc. it didn't really work. Try to start from a vanilla again.
oooor, you could use youtube. (very good help site, i guess. some tutorials are trojans(downloads)..watch out for that.) You've probably already solved this by now..so ill just leave this here for you!

i have dis shiz memorized 
first modloader then audio then shock after that you put the files inside the jar file in minecraft.jar then you copy the resource folder and put it in your .minecraft were it says textures screenshots and bin and your done! P.S dont have any mods download it but after its good download and see what mods work
