Speaking about that; Have you even been to 4chan? Child porn is seemingly the only thing on 4chan that people instantly get banned for. It is pretty fucking rare to stumble across it, and is usually deleted within 10 minutes.
Forced memes... Every other forum on the whole world wide web wishes it would generate as many, admittedly sometimes insanely bad, memes as 4chan does. Think of them as in-jokes. Like mine and Pete's fictional relationship.

4Chan is a accurate representation of the human species. We all are sons of bitches. Every single one of us. Yes 4Chan isn't what it used to be. /B/ now stands for Boring, /A/ has devolved into shrine of the moe-show-of-the-week and /CO/ could be renamed to /MLP/ and you wouldnt see the difference. But that doesn't mean that some of the other boards arent a good read or, dare I say, helpful at times. I've learned more from /CK/ than I ever learned from any cookbook. /TV/ is a great place to find new series to watch. And /S/... well you can imagine what that has provided. Besides, anything that spawned the SCP Foundation (anything being /X/) isn't half-bad in my book.

In short, don't complain about sites you obviously don't visit Junco. I may not have "self-respect" since I regularly visit that den of evil evil child-raping over 9000um packing bastards, but I don't let my views be clouded by FOXnews.

I use to go on it a couple years back whenever I was looking to kill time, but it was barely worth sifting through the total rubbish for something interesting. Though I will admit, there'll be that thread, floating in the sewer, some guy's decided to leave the webcam on with gf in the room, or some poor butthurt game forum's gonna have it's votes rigged, but yeah just not worth it, especially when people try to replicate it everywhere.

Absolutly agree with that. We really are some sick species, arent we? But we also like to have fun, or be creative and so on, and i really got to admit all this can be found there too.
Its a bit like the streets of some big city. You may see some great street artists on your tour... but may also stumble across some very disturbing stuff in some backalleys.

I love the good stuff 4chan generates (i really love memes^^) but because of its "dark side" mentioned above i rarely visit the site myself. I often visit other forums, where people post stuff they saw on 4chan, that is worth mentioning. A litte bit like a "shit-filter", so i dont need to dig through that place myself
