Yeah it's Jack from the earlier Harvest Moon-games. It's a shame really that that series went downhill so incredibly fast after the GBA-versions.

I loved Harvest Moon 64 and Harvest Moon DS. :-). Haven't played the others but the general consensus from what I hear is that they were better.

I had Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, as well as A Wonderful Life. I really enjoyed A Wonderful Life.

FoMT is in my opinion the highlight of the entire series. It just went downhill from there.
Also Rendarg... Harvest Moon really, really isn't a game you should play with a friend. He will get bored very, very quickly.
