Haha, the whole island idea is pretty good in general, not just for a smaller server. Really makes you work together rather than being that guy who builds by himself.

Lies, that was me. Worked hard for getting 10 stacks of dirt in the underground caves...

We'd only get to do chapter 1, as Chapter 2 involves the Nether. And I'd recommend responsible players, it's a structured adventure map, rather than the generic mine/build/survive scenario.
