Re: /butcher for donators?
Yeah, for a monthly access to /item. I'd do it for one month access.

Then again, you can't use /item for selfish purposes as an admin, so you could bee demoted to guest/banned if you get caught doing so.

Do admins pay 50 pounds for the server per month? I thought it came out of Orc's pocket as well as we, the donator's.

I didn't say I would disobey said rules. I was just curious. Do forgive my overtone. It's the internet after all.

Re: /butcher for donators?
If you would actually sell out like this Orc (cause let's be fair, thats whats being suggested here) then I would like Lizardman to be disbarred from selling blocks for the whole month that he has /item. Just to be on the safe side.
Then again, I fail to see why you would want /item in the first place? Why not mine the stuff yourself or *gasp* buy it from other players? That is what MineCraft is all about. The community spirit. Gathering blocks and making a beautiful pyramid with them. Blood, sweat and tears. /Item is just the pussy way out for if you don't actually want to play the game. Tell me Lizard, are you a pussy?

OTOH, finding stuff on a server like ours is pretty damn hard, IMO... I mean, resources are limited after all...

Re: /butcher for donators?
Primarily, I'd like /item to posses blocks otherwise unattainable (fire, glowstone, etc.) blocks. Not to sell or anything, of course. I haven't much care for play money other than to protect myself from griefers. I'd gladly have my /auction rights taken away during the period I'd have /item. Heck, I'd even have my gil reset or not accumulate during said period. After all, it perturbs me as well that there are unobtainable blocks in circulation in the auctions from time to time.

Re: /butcher for donators?
Lizard, if you are referring to glowstone those used to drop from mobs when we had custom drops up and running If I'm not mistaken, the nether were available here for a while as well, which explains the netherrack/soul sand. Not sure if it ever worked, but cauldron did enable you to make that as well.

Re: /butcher for donators?
Indeed, I've tried many different things to introduce otherwise unobtainable blocks. Everything so far hasn't been sustainable, whether it's due to lag or lack of updates.

Re: /butcher for donators?
Well, I was not aware of the custom drops. Either way, there is no way to currently obtain these blocks. Thus, I'd be willing to donate at least one month for the server cost so that I could get these blocks and others for building material.

Re: /butcher for donators?
If one could obtain unique blocks (inlucding fire. I <3 chainmail) I'd be satisfied. Thank you for looking into this, Orc and much thanks for the idea skog.
Side note: Is anyone else unable to get on the server at the moment?

I've been trying for about an hour (not consecutively, of course). Could I have been banned? It does not, however, mention that I'm currently banned.

It's not much of a fail, since I can load minecraft.net I suspect the timeout limit on downforeveryone might be a bit too low.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] checks every 5 minutes, which means it can be unaccurate. However, I loaded the full page right before I wrote the reply, so it's just unstable
