Once upon a time there was a little land called Worldy. In this land lived a small group of people, which had survived the hardships of this dark world. During the day they all went about their business like normal, be it mining, fishing or building great creations. During the night however, the dreadful monsters came out of hiding.
As you may understand, living in such conditions for a prolonged period of time could make anyone nuts. There were many indices, like building murderous water slides and making axes out of wood, but a certain habit was crazier than all the others put together! Every dawn, everyone would storm outside and praise the mighty walrus for making the sun shine another day.
However, despite their weird habits, they were a successful community. Unlike the olden days, often told about in stories around the campfire, the did not trade in gold and diamonds anymore. Some time ago, someone suggested making paper money, as it was easier to carry around and keep track of. They called this currency gil, and with it's creation came a boom in trading. As people started to migrate from neighbouring lands, drawn by the idea of walruss worshipping and lighter wallets. The community grew bigger and bigger, and out of nowhere cities started to spring up. In these cities, people saw an opportunity to start up shops. Many got very rich, while others had to work for their money. This story is about a super cool guy named skoglol. He made a very successful shop in a faraway village in the frozen wastelands to the northeast, called Frostside. His shop was made out of blood, sweat and tears, or more specifically, bricks. As the customers flocked in the doors, he realized that he couldn't meet the customers' demands with such a small brick house, and decided something had to be done.
Incidentally, the same day he went out digging for more clay, the might walrus had a terrible mishap. During it's sleep, it had knocked it's bukkit over, and made a scratch in it! In a mixture of sadness and rage, the mighty walrus went on a rampage. It knocked down entire mountains, filling whole oceans with stone and dirt. It went on and on, until it simply couldn't keep going anymore and fell over, crying like a little girl. The dirt that had filled the oceans grew grass, and would later be known as "the plains of despair". Despite a single mans effort to restore the oceans to their previous state, you can still see remnants lying around the areas untouched by man.
After seeing their icon of holiness in such despair, the people of Worldy got together, and set out on a task to make a new bukkit, even better than the old one. Due to its sheer size, the work went on for months. Due to everyone participating in the work, there were noone to attend or buy from the shops, and a certain person saw an opportunity. As skoglol wasn't really that into the mighty walrus thing, he decided his time would be better spent making his new shop, bigger and better than before. By the time the new bukkit was done, the bricks were gathered, and the shop was finished. Doubled in size, with about 3 times the merchandise, skoglol took a few days break from the hard work it is to manage a shop. However, by the time this story reaches your ears, the shop will be open and ready for your business!
tl;dr: During the shop downtime, I made a bigger house for my shop, with about 3-4 times the chest space as before. Check it out
You'll find my shop by either going to Frostside through the teleport rune outside spawn, or using /home skoglol.
Due to the new sign format beeing a lot less intuitive and automatic than before, not all the signs may work. If you find a non working sign, give me a shout either in this thread, in a pm, or ingame
