Now that mobs drop glowblocks, netherrack, soul sand, etc, all of these previously rare and valuable items are now common and worthless as dirt. Basically diamonds and lapis seem to be the only rare things around anymore.
Hell, portable fire used to be worth like 1000 gil a piece since it was so rare, and now every second zombie drops it.
It kind of sucks to have a huge stash of previously rare materials turned worthless overnight, without warning. At least with some kind of warning we could dump the valuable stuff before the economy dies, but now I know a lot of players who are stuck with huge stashes of this junk that is unlikely to ever be worth anything again.
