I don't unzip anything. I'm following Orc's instructions on commands.

Before you stop the temp server and start the 'real' one, you will need to issue the following commands in Putty.
cd /home/minecraft
unzip Orcworm.zip (If this doesn't work, try just unzip Orcworm)
(From here, run ./start.sh once the unzip has finished)
And yes, I know this is in an unrelated thread, can't be bothered to change it ;p.

Well the instructions relate. Just unzip and then relaunch the server. Those also appear to more complete.

Since being shown those instructions, I've restarted four times. Still disconnects people due to "outdated server"

If you give up, Leme give it a try
Edit: The file is 7gb big maybe you should unzip it, if you have not. I assume it has the new server launcher in it etc.

We're aware it's loading the old server files. YarwoodUK and I are both working on it. Stop spamming the forums already.

Re: Minecraft 1.4
Well, YarwoodUK and I have alternated accessing the console, unzipping the file per Orc's instructions, and had no success. People are still disconnecting due to "outdated server."
We've unanimously concluded there are two possibilities here:
A) The upload STILL isn't finished.
B) Orcworm uploaded the WRONG FILE.
Will try again in ten minutes, and every ten after that. If it's not up in an hour... we'll know it was B.

Re: Minecraft 1.4
Fixed it. he had the wrong version of cb in. Rulyon was too dumb to figure it out... It was as easy as reading Outdated server, to diagnoss the issue. Maybe next time leave the ingame stuff to people who know how to use stfp.

Orc, It was the one from 1.3. So yar just gave me the correct one and it worked. Seems to be all good atm. Other than mod+ are missing world guard commands.

I'm very sorry for the confusion, oversight on my part. WorldGuard's permissions have changed so I will need to go through every command and re-add them.

I never considered that; the new bed spawn thing is going to screw a lot of stuff over
