Re: Kewaii's Music Thread
This one was a big hit around 12 years ago, never forget it, my first experience of house. Lol, i remember my self jumping on my bed to the tune^^
Stardust was a one-time collaboration of three house music producers, including Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter. Daft Punk even use the track today in some of their livesets.

My god what a coincedence, I was just listening to that.
And before someone asks... .hack//sign really is not a series for just anyone. Lot's and lot's and lot's and lot's of talking and not much action.

Re: Kewaii's Music Thread
not really 5 seasons. .hack// is a beast that will never die or something.
Unfortunately the story is spread out across several video games, anime, short stories, among other things. The story is great, but the video games are hard to grind through .
G.U. was quite a bit easier than the original 3, as you could level 10 levels an hour and get to cap in each game in less than 5 hours, then play through the game without any problems. It's funny when you one shot a boss, then you go to a cut scene where the boss is somehow kicking your rear end
Speaking of video games:

Not sure about musical genius there
Chop Suey, nuff said.
Don't even like their genre, but that song is something else.

Nah, each individual game and anime has it's own story. but the series has a sorts of bigger picture. Kinda like how tolkien had a folk lore for his Lotr written out. It's not very important per story, but it explains why things are how they are sorta.

Re: Kewaii's Music Thread
Fountain of dreams is a very fun song ^_^.
I've been working on collecting some of this game music, but I can never find a good place to find stuff without importing. I can't quite afford to import cd's at $50 yet ^_^.
Fortunately most of Uematsu's work has been sufficiently recognized in the west to be on either soundtracks in stores or on Itunes and the likes.
^
that guy has a lot of good music he's uploaded. Love his piano.

Music videos for major label artists on Youtube have been unavailable in Germany since the end of March 2009 as GEMA sought to raise its fee charged to Youtube to 12[3] euro cents per streamed video. This would mean monthly payments to GEMA of nearly 700,000 US dollars, a fee a Youtube spokesman described as "prohibitive."
