I'm thinking of building a PvP Arena

So I was thinking.. I might build a PvP arena (alone or with help) designed for fair PvP, either 1 on 1, last man standing or teams, Obviously, there would be no real law around this arena, but I was hoping some of the people who consider themselves good PvPers would respect the rules, if I made the arena, and maybe if prizes were involved we could get a large amount of players interested.

Do you think this sounds like a good idea? Or do you think this arena would be abused, unfair killing, and killing people watching the fight etc?

I'll take that into consideration, I'm still unsure whether to go through with it though, because I can imagine if it was actually used by a lot of people, at least one person would go on a killing spree on unsuspecting fight watchers, although if I built it close to the spawn, within quick walking distance, people could leave their stuff at home and only fighters would have to bring valuables.

My idea was 50 gil for entrants and winner gets some (not all) of that money at the end. Gotta have some profit to build/maintain the arena .

Best would be if it was built in a zoned no-PVP area, and then PVP was enabled only in the actual fighting area.

Well being only a member, I'd have to get someone higher up to zone the area, but that would be my idea plan, no pvp in the viewing area, or near the entrance. I could make the price as high as I want, and I'd like to keep some money for me, and the people who helped me build it, if they still help me maintain the place

Well i do tend to over react easily but ive put alot off effort into what we have done so far and i dont want it to be upsurped by some random person haha id like if you would come check it out so far if your interested?

Whatever you do i recommend you don't create another coliseum type 1v1, its been made so many times before on the server it'd be nice to see something different for a change

ours was supposed to be muliti section largebattles on oneside then 1v1 you should check out the idea in the projects thingy.
