Coordinate tp's are far better imo. Then again, having both certainly wouldn't hurt.
I do believe the dev never updated pw since 1.3 though.

Really? I find having /pw muuuuch easier than having the coord tp. I have a terrible memory, so im not a fan of it ;D.

Just take a screenshot of the coordinates of the place you would like to "set" as a location to warp. That's what I do at least.

True, but its much quicker to type /pw goto ___ than going into screenshots folder :p

I have a notepad file called "Coordinates". Everything is listed like so:
Farm: /tp xxxx,xx,xxxx
Quarry: /tp xxxx,xx,-xxx
Then all I have to do is Copy, go back to minecraft and key CTRL+V, [Enter]
Farm: /tp xxxx,xx,xxxx
Quarry: /tp xxxx,xx,-xxx

ya i agree with lizardman, taking screenshots is very quick and efficient. also if you were to have one or the other tp coordinates would be better because there isn't a limit on the count of places you can go

..... but no i didnt know if the /pw was on or not because this post is a bit missleading if pw is on because the forum is about getting pw BACK
