Gold Rush -I- The Minigame (Coming Soon)

Gold Rush

Gold Rush is a minigame where the stakes are high and the profit is huge.
If you find yourself one of the lucky few to come out of this mine with some prizes,
then this can be a most rewarding minigame.

Location(s)
Currently, the only location is in New Frostside.

Rules
To play in Zone Diamond you must pay 250Gil for one column of digging in the pit.
To play in Zone Gold you must pay 75 Gil for one column of digging in the pit.
To play in Zone Iron you must pay 50 Gil for one column of digging in the pit.
To play in Zone Iron/Gold you must pay 100 Gil for one column of digging in the pit

Choose ONE block. Dig STRAIGHT DOWN, and in NO OTHER DIRECTION(unless you see a ingot/diamond block].
If you reach the bottom sand, stop.
You can destroy every resource block you see during that procedure.


Rates and Locations
Each pit holds a total of 576 blocks of anything. In each pit will be around 11 INGOT blocks of the respective pit zone.
Zone Diamond only has around 5-7 diamond blocks in the pit. It's rare! :>
"If we hide 11 blocks there is a ~2% chance that the blocks is the resource block, for 45 blocks its
0.02*45 = in 90% of all cases they will find at least one block." - Mati_

Block Buy-Back
Any blocks you find can be sold back to the minigame administration for:
Diamond: 460 Gil
Gold:105 Gil
Iron: 160 Gil

Remember: this game is a gamble. A win is not guaranteed each play.

What's it gonna be about? Is it like when you search up Orcworm on youtube and Orcworm finds the hidden room, except this time it's gold in a cave?

I still don't understand this minigame... Am I right in thinking that you have buried valuable blocks in an area and then people pay to try to dig them up? How many tries do they get? Are runes allowed? Is there a timelimit? Details man!

I'm pretty sure runes are not allowed.

Filler, we'll explain it when the minigame is ready to be run. It'd be silly to post rules and keep editting while we're developing. Rest assured, when it is open, you'll be the first to know :]

How is it silly?
If I had the option, I would LOVE to know how to play games before I get them so I don't think "Oh This shit is too complicated" Or "It's Nice ".

can you make this like not actually on the city land, but ourside the zone? we
1: need that space to sell
2: youd have to add people to the zone just to play
3: might forget to remove people and they might end up stealing/griefing (possability)

Probably, if we decide to go ores we'll lower the buy-in prices. Orc said we could trade him diamonds for diamond ores if we decide to.
