This was in the comments section one of the links and thought it was hilarious.

"I just re-read the article and find one thing funny. It appears, (correct me if I'm wrong) if these 'elite hackers' can't find a true security hole they can exploit, they just resort to a brute force DoS attack to overwhelm the target. There's some real skill for you.

"That lock on your house is a piece of garbage. I'll show you how weak it is!"
*Attempts to pick the lock, but can not do it*
"Hummm... maybe it's better than I thought."
*Gets in a truck and smashes through the lock, door, and half of the wall*
"See! like I said. What a crappy lock!"

How many sites would honestly be able to withstand a massive DoS attack if it's got enough people behind it?"

Lol. But I'm kind of pissed they hacked Bethesda as I would like to see Skyrim actually released at the time they promise rather than have delays due to something like this. Seriously though, this is equivalent of some big buffed up guy on P going down the street and starting a fight with every person who happens to be there. There is no need for it and those people were just trying to live their lives and most likely didn't want their skull crushed in. I've been in that situation and its really annoying.

Cause people of a similar mind set ddosed the orcworm server not too long ago and caused unneeded trouble. Is that not a good reason to be hating this kind of bahaviour.
