My Home protected?

I joined my regular minecraft server orcworm today and run up from my mine to put all the treasures I dug up in my chests when they said the chest was registered by me but it also said something like "not allowed to preform that action in this area" I tryed placing and destroying blocks within the area around my chests and drew a conclusion that a small section of my house had been protected there was a new house behind mine and I noticed that that house had been protected by someone named eve I assume that someone was attempting to protect there house but accidentily protected a small section of mine all I want is to access my chests and furnace can a mod or admin please unprotect the area in my home?
