Well i was wondering 2 things and i thought this was the best place to ask so
    1. What do people use and recommend to make your own texture pack (no i dont juts want to choose from the options of painterly)?
and 2. I was wondering what people use (if anyoen does) to make intros for your youtube channels?
Thanks if you can answer either one or both of these questions.

i personally use the 64x4kids texture pack, mostly because it's cell shaded and cartoony, like Loz: wind waker. however, the mobs look a bit odd, i might replace them at one point with another packs as an improved version.

Use www.paint.net. It isn't as powerful as photoshop, but it's free (unless you employ other means to acquire photoshop Razz). Alternatively, http://pixlr.com/editor/ is a fairly powerful image editor that you can use incase you don't want to download a program. I'm assuming you know how to get all the textures from minecraft.bin, but let me know if you don't

...i misread the questions, for #2 i suggest camtasia studio 7, incredibly easy to modify audio tracks, add together video segments and other such things.

excuse me if im being stupid but im just wondering why everyone is suggesting photo editing software when he needs a video editing one? Now i dont know any good free ones but if you can get a 30 day trial of adobe after effects for free of illigaly download sony vegas pro and that is easier for beginners.
