    I was floating on my magic carpet and because I had legally stolen from Chibble he was out to kill me. I was about 15 blocks in the air and he used /mc to get up to me he had a stone sword and he killed me while using magic carpet I have a pic before he killed me and you could check the logs too Sorry its so damn big...: Magic Carpet kill by Chibble 2wntedd

    The reason why magiccarpet kills are not allowed is because they are an advantage to the one with them. Now if you're using magiccarpet to get away, he should be allowed to use it to get to you.

    I was just hovering there in the first place. I had come from my old home which is a pw. I had told him where I was and he used mc to get up to me. I hadn't attacked him. And Pat read Section 3 Part 2 E) of the rules.

    by that logic, jumpto should be allowed to use to catch people escaping with jumpto...

    their jumpto should be restrained to 10 blocks (if possible), or removed from the compass so it's just to help them get out of holes and stuff

    If a donator uses a command to get to some elevation, then another donator a command (doesn't have to be the same command) to get to that player, and kills them, then it is illegal.
    The point of donator powers isn't to have donator wars in which people fly around in magic carpets killing each other. Sure, you could organize such a thing, so long as all parties give consent. However, just jonesing around on the server doesn't permit you to do so.
    If I fly up with my magic carpet to 129 and someone else flies up there to kill me, then they are breaking a couple of rules.

    A) From here on in, it is now a violation to /tp , /Bring /put and either attack or kill anyone.
    B) It is hereby illegal to teleport to player near someone for the purpose of killing them
    C) It is illegal to teleport to someone or bring someone to you and attack them regardless if it is just for damage and not kill
    D) Compass jumping is regarded as teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
    E) /thru is considered teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
    F) /jumpto is considered teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
    G) It is a violation to teleport to a person’s co-ordinates and kill them
    H) A PW is classed as teleporting and is in violation of the TP killing rule
    I) /home is acceptable given that it is actually your home.

    Now, I know that the Magic Carpet isn't specified, but these rules were made when the Magic Carpet plugin had been removed (and certain parties banned for abusing it in more ways than just killing). However, by the way the rules are written, using Magic Carpet to kill someone high above, avoiding confrontation, in a Magic Carpet, should be implicit.

    It's not too difficult to spot power abuse. Although OP's screenshot doesn't prove he was attacking him, it does show that the 'attacker' used his magic carpet. So, in the logs, you would be able to see whether or not this did transpire. People don't run around on the ground with their magic carpet out, so should one not find a log of the 'attacker' disabling their magic carpet before the kill, that could, in theory, prove the 'victim's' words. Then, just warn/strip them and that job is done.

    tl;dr: - The accused seemed to have power abused.
    - It's not hard to spot a power abuser and just strip them of their powers.

    Also, this is settled already. Just shtickin' muh words in.
