Im getting FED up with all the Editing of other post like changing what they say. I believe that we should GET RID of editing posts or anything dealing with editing them from everyone with the ranks IN-GAME admin and IN-GAME Moderator. We need people that dont Fuck others posts up unlessed asked for. Like i posted something on note blocks and people took it to there own hands to Change the video i post, probably edit my text, AND changed the title of the post. Its fucking ridiculous. If you want them to change there mind about something CONVINCE them in the comments dont change it for them unless they ask for change which is probably only for like REMOVING or DELETING.

I think the problem isn't the command, but the people. I really don't think in-game mods should have forum mod, and I really think admins should be hand picked. I really think you guys should go one by one thinkng: "Do I want this guy to be able to lock topics, delete topics, edit posts, delete posts and ban people?", I mean, there IS a moderator group, just saying.

Don't go targeting in-game mods and use them as scape goats. The in game admins edit posts the most..
Edit: But I edit my own lol AND I do admit some have edited by accident and in some other cases but it isn't that big of a deal, an easy solution is removal of on forum mod if you do it. [Or w/e]

I never blamed mods, I am just saying, that no one should have mod command here by default, but that each person should be handpicked to have it. I mean, look at me. I am guest in-game, and barely ever play, only when someone asks me to on IRC to test something and then go bug Orc, yet I am forum mod here. I DO think you, and only in your particular case, would do a good forum mod, but we probably don't need more than 6-10 mods... In any case, I still think forum abilities should be a privilege, and not a right.

To be honest, I didn't add the forum moderator powers to in-game staff, except owner. After coming back from PC problems, I saw that in-game staff had the permitions, but I didn't want to change any of that, as I'm not the owner, just a Developer. Forum Moderator is harder than in-game moderator, as it's only 1-3 people who is going to have it, except for Developer and Owner.
Therefore, I ask you, Orcworm, if I can remove this command, and make a limit to their permitions.
By the way everyone, the 1-2 new forum moderators is chosen on the 21th January! So get active, help people and have fun. (No more talk or applications for the ranks.)

Forum Moderator is a very powerful rank, which should only be given to the most active and trusted members, that can handle the job. While on this forum, which is unique from all other forums, the in-game staff has an "auto" given in-game rank on the forum, that has the permitions to do the exact same things as the Forum Moderator. And with over 10 in-game staffs, this could get really messy and out of control.
We don't need more than 1-3 Forum Moderators except for me and you Orcworm. Just take a look at me and you. Every single posts that is made on this forum, is checked as soon as possible by me and you. We do live in GMT and GMT + 1, so we won't be able to check the forum all night long, and that is the only reason why we need more of that Rank.
Currently, we have PetePorty who has shown him 100% wealthy enough for that rank - to take the night job, as he lives in USA, 5-7 hours behind us. But we could need 1-2 more. These are only the most trusted, helpful and most experienced members we find.
These 1-2 members will be chosen on the 21th January of 2011. These members also NEED good grammar.
So, if you felt offended because I de-ranked/demoted you, (this is for the in-game staff) please PM me, or post a comment below. Didn't mean to hurt anyone, in any way.

Hmm.. Like 1 year ago, while I were playing Runescape, I made an in about 2 months, that takes a normal runescape player about 5-8 months. Thats because I played every night, every day, all the time.
In 2 months, I had played 23 days. Then I played for fun (none quest, none skilling, none money making) for about 2-3 more months, and suddenly my gameplay time was around 48 days. Without the nights, this would be around 10 days, and a low level user.
Well anyway, I gave away that account a long time ago, as I found out, at the end, that I was addicted!!

Aah runescape... I remember that game. A lot of my two years has been wasted. Last I remember was when Hunting was introduced, and I left shortly after that.

Staff should only edit others posts in the event of removing something that would be extremely offensive, or malicious in nature.

Also, I only stay till 4 am during vacations. I normally go to bed early, around 11, since I wake up at 5:30 am.

In-game mods have now only moderator powers in the admin discussion, as they need to be able to access it, while in-game admins are limited for town/city/village and some other sections.
I hope this will stop the editing.

Since people dont get what i say on this then please lock this. doesnt need to be talked on if no1 gets what im saying. Ik ivision got half of it but other stuff i said no1 got. Even tho alot of people dont like Lady gaga doesnt give you promision to edit my thread. Even if your owner or staff. The only thing you Lock a thread or edit it is if they ask for it or if it breaks rules, and 99.9% of my threads didnt break rules or anything and that was one of them. I do Agree with Pete that only people that should get the ability to do the locking / Editing are the people that are responsible and dont goof with it. It happened to me alot and you might think its a joke but when it happens to you alot it gets you even more PISSED OFF!. so please lock this, it got off topic anyways even tho snowball tried putting it back on topic. Btw snow im not saying all moderators are bad with this just was saying some where. I even said in-game Admin and im that rank so it would be taken away from me too. So yeh, Invision please lock.
