When you leave and reopen a map, it's always the beginning of the morning.

My furnace hasn't run out of fuel from 1 coal in 20 minutes.

OMFG I just got raped several times, I was running around in my 1.8 world and after a while of digging came across a dungeon or stronghold or whatever theyre called. If I ever come across another one of those again I'm leaving it and sealing the entrance with obsidian or bedrock. I was just loling at a spazing out creeper when a metrick shit-ton of silver fish started pouring from the walls and floor. THAT WAS HELL. I used to think the Nether was bad, but atleast I can block the Nether from my game by just not building it.

I can only find abandoned mines. I've found like 50 so far, but no dungeon things. But right now I'm not really looking for some, I'm expanding on my castle.
Also: To correct what I said earlier, Villages only spawn in flat areas. So it's more likely for them to spawn in the desert, but they also spawn in plains.
