It was Orcworms decision as far as I'm aware. Most likely because donators can be trusted a whole lot more since they've invested in the server, which in turn keeps greifs to a minimum and reduces the need for Staff intervention.

With NPCs getting the axe I decided to add something else to replace it. As far as the donator tier is concerned I may lower to 2nd / £10, depends if MagicCarpet is supported and working properly in 1.8.x.
Snakerob, you are of-course welcome to have an opinion - though at the end of the day I have to pay for this, and with the recent chargebacks (I actually get charged a Paypal fee as well as losing the donation in question, though the chipin bar doesn't lower again) and the money I'm pumping into advertising I have to get it back from somewhere.
And before PureCraft comments on the donation bar for this month, $100 of it was to buy a Steam game package of equal value for a friend in Germany because it was 'indexed' over there.
Oh, and all who're currently eligible and have posted should now be added, if not now then when I hop in-game and reload the whitelist.
