chest protection fail?

Okay so this guy famous or w/e joins the server and says to me.. dude.. u had 3 chest.. ones missing.. and i go what?
i go and its missing..

so i lock a chest with a password and i ask him to destroy it......
he does.. and all the stuff comes out..
how can i lock my stuff if it still can be stolen?
is it a bug or is that just how it is.. cuz if it is.. i c no point in it

The normal player will not be able to bypass LWC locks, there are, however, various methods to get past the protection I imagine, whether it's by exploiting glitches or using unofficial clients.

I can track when a chest was locked and when it was destroyed or items taken from it, thus, if the chest was locked before problems occured with it I know that the perpatrator has exploited a glitch, or whatever.

If the chest was locked after it was stolen from it's simply user error.

ONLY use DOUBLE CHESTS. A kind player warned me that single chests CAN be stolen from, so ONLY use double chests. No, I'm not disclosing the method to steal.

Is that with /cprivate or /lwc ?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw he locked with password, so I'm guessing its with LWC.

For Cprivate, its recommended you use single chests.

ahh.. well he told me he was ur friend.. the double chest that first went missing was /cprivate and the other one was a locked one with password so with /lcw

[edit] snowball as my witness i did test with him and he could destroy it.. idk if admins have that access but he said he didnt use any mod or w/e but yeah.. he knows the area it happened.. but yeah.. idk what to tell u so u can identify where its at and stuff...

I will need to search through the logs manually to find who or what broke the chest, searching the log in-game returns too many results for the default chat box.

I think it is the opposite.

k orc let me add more that iv lost..
it might be the same person.. but i put lwc on a double chest with pass...

one double chest with tools.. full of tools pickaxe shovel and axe.. and one with food.. 10 cakes and about 4 bread.. and one with wood.. i go.. put pass on all.. they are all.. missing..

BTW: Single chests are the problem. If someone makes it into a double-chest, it looses the /lwc on it.
