Server Status

Hi all
i have a question :p the server status say me the server is online but i can't connect i get a Connection Lost Time out.

so my question is the server online or offline ??

ps: i now my english is bad :p

If the server is listed as online and you're getting a "Connection timed out" error then it's down. For the past few days the times when the server goes down randomly have been due to network problems.

I'm assuming it's also linked with the MCN server instability over the past few days considering these are the only times when my server has problems like this.

Completely agreed. This is the only PvP server that has kept my interest. I normally despise PvP.

I also agree with this. Less headache and pressure knowing you don't have to rush home to help your poor defenseless players.

Believe me, I've tried to crack through these school computers, no dice.

They must have established a download/upload limit, then.

oh... u dont have a laptop, i thought you did, do they have proxies or?

because you can always start up in terminal and make a PRIVATE ADMIN ACCOUNT. that would probably help...

The network isn't a problem, 55/15 last time I checked. Everything is locked down (Command prompt, even right click) so there's no chance of me getting anything done from here, lol.

Have you got access to notepad? Can you rename files?
If so, then you could create "run cmd.exe" save as for example: cmd.bat
It's been a while since I've done this so I'm not entirely sure it is "run cmd.exe" but it's along the lines


If you can't create this on the computers at school, do it at home and bring it in (Or just bring cmd.exe in - but I'm guessing they might not let you run executables)

Tried both, as well as creating a macro in Word to open up VB.net, totally locked down ;p.

Which software package do the technicians use to moderate?

Ummm... use the same pass you use to login in normal mode, but in safemode... :/

User account for every student, all locked down excluding the Admin account, only way to obtain that password is to bribe the techies there.

Wouldn't work 99% of schools use network software to manage their user accounts.

Meh, I used to do it, and the admin had no pass. When they noticed I was doing it, they added a pass, but I broke into the admin's computer, took the pass and use it leaving no trace... =D
