Minecraft Keeps Crashing on me.

When i open up the minecraft program it will work well for about 5 minutes or so then the screen will just turn black and i am forced to close down the program. I have tried deleting the program and re-installing it. I have tried deleting the minecraft folder but when i install it again it still does not work. It is really annoying and i hope some of you have answers to solve this problem.

Also as a side note i have created a post on the cities discussion section in the projects which is a project that i am recruiting helpers for. The project is to build a New Grenlock.

Well the biggest questions are, what OS are you using? Do you have the most up-to-date java? And what are your system specs?

Mid 90's (Me being around 8-9ish) they always, and I do mean always, showed Gremlins 1 around Christmas.

The current "christmas movie" you always see here in germany (for almost 10 years now i believe o.O ) is the Last Unicorn. Every fucking christmas. I think they tried to replace it with Princess Mononoke some years ago, but that failed, propably due to most viewers being dumb as shit, not realizing the beauty of the movie.

Never heard of the Last Unicorn. And I don't think Mononoke has EVER been on the dutch television. Spirited Away has been once late at night (2300) during some festival but that's it. But yeah... Mononoke isn't really all that christmassy, no snow for one thing. Ultraviolence (Arms being torn off by arrows) being the other.

well, all the violence gets cut in german television anyway. the censorship on germany's mainstream "anime" television channel is so hard, it makes you wanna cry, seriously. they are able to get stuff with 12+ or 16+ rating down to 6 just to be able to show it in the afternoon and get lots of viewers. there is a god damn reason why stuff like this is shown in the evening in japan.

and you do know the last unicorn, everyone knows it, this american animation movie from 1982 with the hawt girl.

Well I do enjoy downloading stuff (reminds me to watch the new Fringe-ep) and watching it at my leisure sans commercials. But that doesn't really count as television anymore does it?

Yeah, its definitely not a X-files ripoff. And even it was, would that be such a bad thing? Though to be honest it has lately been drifting awfully close to soap opera-shenanigans.

Last Unicorn is alright, but I'd Definately prefer Monanoke. I can't seem to find a place to download Chobits though. I watched it with a friend in highschool, spurted a quite the other day now my wife wants to watch it.

My family watches the same two movies every year at Christmas: A Christmas Story and The Dark Crystal.

Hahahaha...no! I believe it's a money thing, because they show all the stuff in the afternoon on the cildren programm to get more viewers. Thats ok for shows like pokemon, no one gets a blade through the stomach there, or his head chopped off, but action shows dont fit into that broadcasting time, they should be shown uncut in the evening, like its done in japan.
It's not just the graphical violence and blood, even the language is cut. No more swearing and sometimes, and here it gets really crazy, complete alteration of the words and meaning. Words like "Kill", "murder" and so on, become "kidnapped", "captured" or "dissappeared".
Example: "I.. I cant believe it, how could you.. how could you.. kidnap you whole clan?! your family?! every last one of them!"
Seriously, wtf. Thats why i dont bother watching stuff on tv anymore. Downloads ftw

Bad dubs can really destroy a show. It's sad when ppl say a show sucks, after they only saw some really horrible dub.
