Isn't transparency only allowed on the exterior head layer for skins and "fancy" graphic setting for leaves?

Paint.net is my poison of choice. Not as many functions as PS or Gimp but it works well enough.

Must agree with Pure there; but sincerely, GIMP is the best IMO. For fast stuff I do use Paint.net though, since it... well, faster.
