get on the server?

can people get onto the server, cause when i try it comes up with a long line like:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Minecraft Network is down.

Sometimes ten minutes... sometimes ten hours.

Get used to it, MC.Net is horribly fickle and goes down every couple of days.

I've found that even though old launcher can't connect, the new one can. Either it's random luck, or they use different login servers.

Joining a server is a different story though

At least twice a day for a couple of hours.

Like in December was down for like a day and 1/2

and its down because theres too many people on already & Notch can't hold it so
it dosen't let anyone connect that is trying to so for now just troll.

Idk about all of you, but this is ridiculous.... You would think that after 1.4M + sold version of the game, they would use some of the money they are rolling around in to get a better server... =B If everyone of those 1.4M's paid $15 USD (but that was for alpha only! so + $5 for beta) at least $15 million.... sheeeeesh

I've been given access to re-start the server, but cannot from my phone. I thought it was possible since I have a decent Internet browser on it, but it requires a keystroke combination I cannot duplicate. (there's no CTRL key on the iPhone) If it has not been restarted by the time I get home from work I will do so, but that is a little over 6 hours from now. I'll be home at 7:00 AM CST (1:00 PM GMT)

EDIT: Server restarted @ 7;00 AM CST (1:00 PM GMT)

Rulyon, there's an android client for servers, I'm sure someone'll port it to iPhone

Or you know... get a decent telnet-app. Shouldnt be that hard to find.
