Aether Mod on the Server

If you have the new "Aether" mod installed, will it let you join servers?

I think you can join servers if you have the mod installed, you just can't use that mod on the servers

I can confirm it, i have the Aether mod installed and it has no effect on server logins.

I also have the mod installed, sadly you can't make gloves although it makes you think you can for a brief second! :p

I aswell have aether installed and i can join orcworm's just fine.

OKay, I'll say the big technical definition.
For the most part, client side mods don't have an effect on your mltiplayer expirience (with some obivus exceptions), the Aether doesn't work because it's not yet an SMP mod, so IF Orc installed it, than it would have a bearing on your SMP playing.

Also, I discovered by accident that if you right click a blue swet, you can control him and rid him like a horsey!!!
